Six Pillars of DEI Education: Systems Approach
DEI’s approach is similar to Late Prof. J.W. Forrester’s (MIT) philosophy of unifying knowledge and mobility, and return to the “Renaissance
Man”: A person with understanding of systems tries to see common elements in diverse settings and thereby creates transferability between
diverse structures. By applying the systems approach to education, the
underlying unity between fields becomes teachable and researchable.
