After a hiatus of two years, TEDxJMI is finally back on March 27, 2022. We are all set to bring forth an eclectic myriad of people from different walks of life.
From thought leaders to grassroot workers, healthcare professionals to new-age entrepreneurs, our team has curated not just a group of individuals but Bravehearts who will be sharing their inspiring stories and galvanizing experiences.
THE THEME : DIFFERENT LENSES
When we're talking about different lenses, we mean different eyes, diverse senses of multifarious individuals, each one unique in its way with a different standpoint, ideology, and way of vitality.
This incites a question in our minds, how are we shaped? What molds our thought process? Is it our actions, choices, or the experiences we've had in the past? This takes us to the conclusion that since no two occasions can be the same, no two views will ever match entirely.
It is imperative to look beyond our perspective and understand that everyone is distinct and consequently has a distinguishing outlook. It is this diversity that is responsible for the equilibrium in society, harmony in multiplicity, and peace in variousness.
The understanding of these nuances makes the world a little more empathetic, and a better place to live in. So herewith this theme, we will bring the seen and the unseen world together for everyone to see the horizon of perspectives.
THE VISION
We aim to bring visionaries, innovators, problem solvers, creators, investors, entrepreneurs, entertainers, and the community of such free spirits into one space.
The gathering of such outstanding individuals under one roof is bound to spark ideas, expedite thinking, and open the minds of audiences.
We wish to sow a seed that can
thrust perimeters, and reinvent our
local society. This is our dream for
TEDxJMI. And we want you to be
part of it.
ABOUT THE EVENT
The first TEDxJMI was held back in October 2011. In the process of materializing this event, we understood that it would be a challenge adapting a new concept to the local sensibilities.
Nevertheless, we are happy to witness our efforts producing outcomes that we imagined and are proving to our standing.
The second edition of TEDxJMI was scaled up to 400 people in October 2017, gathering members of the TEDx community from around the country. This stood as the first grand success for TEDxJMI.
The third edition of TEDxJMI was scaled up to an audience of 500 in November 2019. It witnessed a batch of eminent speakers who gave birth to ideas that now exist as startups, initiatives, and life-changing goals.
The journey has been amazing and here we are today to move ahead to set new benchmarks
The next TEDxJMI is scheduled for March 2022.
