This course requires engagement with Law, Economics and Technology Studies. • Provided conceptual inputs to SODA (Society of Developmental Agencies, Mayurbhanj) to undertake field study as well as policy analysis of Forest laws, Stakeholder analysis and finally, consultation with public hearings regarding Forest Governance for the Ford Foundation project on Governance of Similipal Biosphere Reserve Mayurbhanj District Orissa, funded by Ford Foundation. New Delhi in collaboration with SODA, Mayurbhanj, Orissa, 2007

• Consultancy provided to Ladakh development organizations (LDO), Leh, Ladakh to Prepare a Questionnaire, training provided to fill the questionnaire on PRI Institutions in Ladakh Districts, Stake holder analysis was made to review the role of PRI in Ladakh. Data analysis and report was written on Devolution of PRI in Ladakh, 2008.

• Consultancy for evaluation of CEMCA project on Community radio. The evaluation focused on evaluating the interns, fellows, documents and materials prepared by CEMCAand interviewed various stakeholders from Ford Foundation, Ministry of I&B, officials of CEMCA.The purpose of this evaluation is to provide a pathway to CEMCA for future engagement in the field of Community Radio “Enabling Media Access for Community’s Self Expression”, Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia (CEMCA).

31. Code of ethics for research followed by the Departments

The Centre strictly follows the code of ethics in academic publication, research and in admission of students as laid in the University rules and Guidelines. Stress is laid on high quality and original research and students have been made aware of moral and ethical norms in research such as avoiding plagiarism. The centre has formed a committee on “Ethics for Research” and Dr. Taberez Neyazi has been made incharge to evaluate all the assignments and documents submitted by students. The Centre takes help of Turnitin software for plagiarism supplied by university.
