Profile:

Prof. Jabir Hasan Khan obtained his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He Qualified UGC (JRF) in Geography and Joint UGC-CSIR (JRF) in Earth Sciences.

Dr. Khan joined this Department as a lecturer in December, 1994. His major fields of research interest are Population Geography, Rural Development and Applied Geography. He has a great commitment with teaching and research. A number of students have qualified UGC and CSIR, NET/JRF and civil services examinations under his guidance. During 2015-2020 Years, he has supervised Three Ph.D. theses (Three submitted and Two in progress) and Three PDF completed.

To his credit, there are twenty three research papers published in edited books and reputed national and international journals like Man in India, National Geographical Journal of India, The Geographer, The Deccan Geographer, Asian Profile, Oriental Geographer, European Journal of Social Sciences, European Scientific Journal, British Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences, International Journal of Research in Social Sciences, Asian Journal of Research in Business Economics and Management, Radix International Journal of Research in Social Science, etc. He has presented seven research papers in various national and international conferences.
