Terms and Condition of ISRO Research Grants

1.

The approved funds should be utilized solely

for the

purpose

for

which

they

have been granted unless lSRo agrees othenrrise. A Certification that the funds have been so used should be produced by the grantee Institution afterthe end of each of the support'

2.

Due acknowledgement to ISRO should be made in all reports and publications arising out of the part of the work supported by tSRO. The grantee will take priorlermission of ISRO before publishing any work based on the ISRO support project.

3.

Two cooies of all the publications resulting from the research conducted with the aid of the grant should be submitted to ISRO'

No Investigator receiving a grant from ISRO rnay make commercial use of the results of his work by

patent or othenruise ISRO reserues the exclusive right to determine whether anY patent shall be taken out and what commercial use, if any, shall be rnade of any result of the investigations. The patents shall be in the name of ISRO and lSRo shall retain exclusive rights to commercially exploit them. The shares, if any, of the royalty to the lnvestigator, the parent institution and ISRO, will be determined by ISRO.

The principai Investigator is requireci to submit t',.vo copies of yeariy reports inciicating the progress of the v;ork accompiisheci. He is aiso required to submit tr.aro copies of a cjetaiiei iechnical repcn on the results of the researchldevelopment after the com pletion of the project. The reports will become the property of ISRO.

An inventory of items purchased from lSRo funds should be sent

equipments and unconsumable items coasting more than Rs.S,OoO/- shall remain the property of IRSO and ISRO reserves the right to transfer them +dispose of them on the termination of the project as ISRO may deem fit.

The accounts of the expenses incurred out of lSRo funds should be properly maintained and should be authenticated by an approved auditor. The final accounts statement in duplicate duly audit should be sent to the pay& Accounts Officer, DOS/Senior Accounts Officer, ISRO Headquarters, as the case may be, at the end of each financial year of support.
