Aas Mohammad is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India. Before joining Jamia Millia Islamia, he has worked as Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Tamil Nadu.

He has previously worked as a Research Consultant at the Institute of Economic Growth, New Delhi, and has held the post of Ad-hoc Faculty in the Economics Department at Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi. He has also been a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the School of Economics, University of Hyderabad, India. His research interests lie in the field of industrial economics, efficiency and productivity analysis and macroeconomic policies.
