Mr Harsh Mariwala leads Marico Limited (Marico) as its Chairman and Managing Director.

Over the last 3 decades, Harsh Mariwala has transformed a traditional commodity driven business into a leading Consumer Products & Services Company, in the Beauty and Wellness space. From a turnover of Rs.50 Lakhs in 1971, Marico's Products and Services in Hair Care, Skin Care and Healthy Foods generated a turnover of about Rs. 2661 crores during 2009 10. Marico markets well known brands such as Parachute, Saffola, Kaya, Mediker, Revive, among others.

Under his leadership, Marico has achieved several recognitions including the NDTV Profit Business Leadership Award 2009 for Best Business Leadership in the FMCG (Personal Hygiene) category and was recently awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2009 in the Manufacturing category.

Harsh Mariwala won the India Talent Management Award at the CNBC TV18 India Business Leader Awards 2009. In 2009 Marico won the Silver Edge Award instituted by Diamond Edge Awards by Network Computing for Automation of Banking Transaction & PDA based Sales Force Automation. Marico's case study of implementing Red Hat Linux for SAP was awarded the Red Hat Consumer Showcase Award 2010.

Mr. Mariwala is very passionate about Innovation and thus founded the Marico Innovation Foundation in 2003. Along with an eminent Board, Mr. Mariwala drives the Foundation to be a catalyst in fuelling Innovation in India. Mr. Mariwala is also involved in mentoring a group of young, upcoming entrepreneurs and he does this in association with TiE - The Indus Entrepreneurs as part of TiE's Mentor Programme.

Mr. Mariwala is currently the President of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). In the past, Mr. Mariwala has held several positions as FMCG Committee Chairman of FICCI and CII. Mr. Mariwala is a part of Young President Organization (YPO) and World Presidents Organization (WPO) and has held the position of YPO Education, Membership and Chapter Chair.

Dr (Mrs.) Jyotsna Suri took on the mantle of Chairperson & Managing Director of Bharat Hotels in the year 2006 and since then has been the driving force of the Groups' operation across India. She also charted a highly successful brand change under “THE LALIT” flagship, as a tribute to the Founder Chairman, Mr Lalit Suri.

She is known for her vociferous promotion of Indian tourism – both nationally and internationally.

“Promoting the destination rather than the property” is her conviction and her initiatives reflects the same spirit.

She holds various portfolios with the Industry Associations namely - Chairperson of the FICCI Tourism Committee (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry), The Indian member on the International Executive Committee of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC).

Bharat Hotels Limited is known as India's largest privately owned Hotel Company and also the fastest growing hospitality group. Presently, the company offers Seventeen luxurious hotels, with 3600 rooms in the five-star deluxe segment – Eight hotels are operational properties in New Delhi, Mumbai, Goa, Bangalore, Srinagar, Udaipur, Khajuraho and Bekal; and Nine are under development in Kolkata, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Amritsar, NOIDA, Dehradoon, Dubai and Koh Samui (Thailand).

Rajiv Kumar, a well known economist and the author of several books, joined the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in October 2010. Prior to this, he was Director & Chief Executive of the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER), one of India's leading independent economic policy think tanks. He is a non-executive member of the Central Board of Directors of the State Bank of India; a member of the G-20 Advisory Group, Ministry of Finance, Government of India; Member of India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF) Board of Trustees; and has a seat on the Board of Directors for the United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF). He is also a member of the Expert Committee of the National Small Savings Fund (NSSF) of the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. Dr. Kumar was a member of the National Security Advisory Board from 2006-2008.

From 1987-1989, Dr Kumar taught at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade; subsequently, he worked for the Government of India from 1989 to 1995, first in the Bureau of Industrial Costs and Prices, Ministry of Industry and then as Economic Adviser in the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance. In 1995, Dr. Kumar joined the Asian Development Bank, in Manila and assumed several positions during his ten year term.

In 2004, he returned to India to join the Confederation of Indian Industries, New Delhi as Chief Economist.

He has a D.Phil. in Economics from Oxford University and a Ph.D from Lucknow University. His latest book, Many Futures of India, published in April 2011 is a compilation of his columns in some of India's leading dailies. He contributes a regular column to Business Line, a leading business daily; his views on matters relating to the economy are widely sought.

Ms Rameeza Akhtar is a Hindustani Classical Vocal Artist, Theatre Actor, and Festival Director, South Asian Film Festival (SAFF). SAFF is one of the most popular cinema based event in the entire South Asian Region. She is actively involved in designing various culture based program in the region, and in Film Productions for the Foundation in designing and conceptualizing.

South Asia Foundation is a registered (non-profit, private) voluntary organization, dedicated to the cause of upliftment of downtrodden people of the society with special emphasis on crafts sector by creating job opportunities. The Foundation is working with the aim to foster co-operation and understanding among the people of the region and to rekindle the spirit of humaneness and oneness.

South Asia Foundation (SAF) played a key role in resolving conflicts in Nepal and got all the parties concerned on to the negotiating table by engaging them in a meaningful dialogue. Mr Alistair Ballantine's experience in the travel industry spans more than 30 years. He joined The Oberoi Group in November 2009 to head the New York Sales Office. From 1978 to 2003, he served as President, United States of America and Group Chief Marketing Officer, Abercrombie & Kent International, Inc. Mr Sachin Balpande is the Trade Commissioner at the Consulate General of Canada in Mumbai, India.
